2.4 Order of precedence. Unless otherwise noted herein or in the contract, in the event of a conflict between the
text of this document and the references cited herein (except for related specification sheets), the text of this
document takes precedence. Nothing in this document, however, supersedes applicable laws and regulations unless
a specific exemption has been obtained.
3. REQUIREMENTS
3.1 First article inspection. MSEC's furnished under this specification shall be products which are capable of
meeting all first article inspection requirements specified herein (see 4.3).
3.2 Materials. Materials used shall be as specified herein and as specified in referenced specifications,
standards, and drawings. Materials shall be free of defects which adversely affect performance or serviceability of
the finished product. Materials shall be suitable for use over an ambient temperature range from -51 to +71 degrees
Celsius (°C) (-60 to +160 degrees Fahrenheit (°F)). There shall be no changes in physical or dimensional
characteristics that could result in the operation of the MSEC falling outside the limits specified herein (see 4.6.1).
